Hi!
I recently bought a pair of Jabra Elite 65t. Pairing them with bluetooth to my iPhone 7 was no problem, easy instructions came with the ear buds, but pairing them with my MacBook Air was not as intuitive.
I tried to google my problem, but didn't find any good solutions, and Jabra doesn't have support on their website (just says that the ear buds are optimized for use with a smartphone, what that is supposed to mean in terms of connectivity to a laptop) but it turns out it wasn't to hard after all.
Here's how I did.
(1) Turn off your bluetooth on your smartphone, so Jabra doesn't pair as soon as they are turned on.
(2) Go to Open Bluetooth Preferences on your MacBook and make sure bluetooth is turned on.
(3) Press the multitask button on your right Jabra Elite 65t earbud, and press it long enough until the LED indicator light flashes blue.
(4) Put the earbud in your ear.
(5) Now your Jabra Elite 65t is visible in your Bluetooth Preferences, you just click to pair.
(6) Check that it works by playing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ on youtube. Enjoy and then pause the video.
(7) Now, turn on bluetooth on your smartphone and go to your bluetooth settings and pair your phone to your Jabra Elite 65t.
(8) You will now hear a voice confirming that you have two devices connected at the same time.
(9) Play freely between computer and smartphone, you don't have to turn bluetooth on or off to switch in between. Run mac apps on windows.
Enjoy!
